Helen Marie was pleased to contribute design services to the Multicultural Mixer, hosted by Tangerine-Watson and JWT. This Creative Week event was designed to showcase the diverse creative talent behind many of our favorite TV spots.
Instead of developing a singular visual metaphor, we chose a non-literal approach. Bright colors and contrasting textures worked to underscore diversity and creativity. To evoke digital media we used Cologne Bold, a geometric typeface with a retro, computer-display feel. The visual identity was used in email invitations and printed materials at the event.
The mixer was a success, and we're looking forward to participating in next year's Creative Week events.
