HM Represents at the New Media Institute
Our long-time client, the National Black Programming Consortium, organizes and co-sponsors an annual conference on the state of new media, and the impact of technology on public media and the voices of communities of color. We’ve been thrilled to participate in the conference since its inception three years ago.
In addition to being an exciting conference, NMI is also a group of workshops for young producers and their mentors. Each group develops a project that fits in the overall theme of that year’s Institute. For this year’s themes, active citizenship and the new administration, HM collaborated with two of the teams on exciting projects that explore social networking, blogging, and multimedia. We’ll post the URLs when the sites launch!
